Community Service Club

The Wolcott High School’s Community Service Club has had a busy December! Members have been signing up their relatives and friends for the Stop and Shop A+ Bonus Bucks promotion. This promotion will raise money for the high school and costs participants nothing. Several people in the community are now participating and because they can register for up to three schools, are helping to support all of Wolcott’s schools. Anyone interested in more information about the program or to register for the program, can go to www.stopandshop.com/aplus

The club also spent a recent afternoon baking cookies for the St. Vincent De Paul Shelter in Waterbury and the Bristol CFC Storehouse soup kitchen. Members baked and donated 1,000 cookies in all! Special thanks to Mr. Tutalo and Mr. Gentile, culinary teachers, for lending the kitchen and their expertise for this massive cookie bake!
